shaping up

For my youngest's second birthday we bought him PlayShapes by millergoodman. I've had this one on top of my wishlist for a long time, and although you pay a hefty price for it, it's definitely worthwile. The wood is of fine quality, you could almost call it soft. It has nice colors and shapes and there is an unlimited number of shapes you can create with the blocks. At first I was a bit disappointed to learn there is no book with example shapes (like you see on the box), but my eldest has been playing with it non stop, creating al these different shapes (boats, faces, planes). I can truly recommend PlayShapes to any parent!
